Katerina pursues the borderline of states, colliding antipodes. She scratches gloss, liquefies solid materials by melting, imprints counter-reliefs, turns volumes inside out. Using the inversion effect, the artist strives to penetrate beyond the visible surface and extract sounds from the material that are not characteristic of it.
